Super bride and groom 💕

If Mother Nature dealt me such a hand the day before my wedding I think I would have crumbled. This is why Amanda and Freddie really are super bride & groom!

The day before the wedding, the bride called and said how an hour earlier they were just having a cup of tea and out of the window they looked in horror as a gust of wind ripped through their wedding reception marquee and away it went.

With calm and admiration they shook off any panic and decided a plan b was needed. This wedding WAS going to happen! Despite needing a new venue. Where on earth would you start to process this? This is where I so would’ve been a mess; I really do take my hat off to them. There was one venue that saved the day and in fact everyone worked together and it was perfect.

I loved the fact the rain stayed away so the newlyweds could walk from the church through the town with their guests to the venue, I loved being able to capture the beautiful surroundings around their new venue, the Brycheinion Theatre, perfectly timed for our spring daffodils, the colours are just lovely and the bride and groom looked amazing!! I loved the afternoon tea in the auditorium decorated with bunting and twinkly lights; I loved the speeches that had everyone laughing out loud, all these little moments that I'm sure made it all worthwhile.

I truly admire the strength these two had to not crumble on Friday, and from the sneak peak I’m sure you’ll agree they themselves and their wedding looked stunning. I actually didn't want to leave as the wedding party was in full swing being truly entertained by The Raspberry Jam, a great duo!

A massive congratulations to the wonderful Mr and Mrs price. It was a pleasure to be a part of your wedding - these such things are memorable - your very unique story - highlighting all you need is love. A wedding really is all about you, your love and your fabulous family and friends and I’m certainly proud to have been able to capture it!

Here's to love, laughter and happy ever after!

A wonderful year of weddings, with that true love that we seek; Castles, barns and family farms, every one unique. Capturing a love story, in a glance or a look, cherishing those moments in a photo that I took.

A wedding day is a beautiful story unfolding in front of my eyes, From morning prep, walking down the aisle to the first dance, how quickly the day flies. A special time seeing all your amazing personal plans and hard work come to life, It’s an honour to have front row seats as you become husband and wife.

I love the proud Dad walking his little girl down the aisle, And seeing the first look of a groom with his beaming smile. I love the speeches that make you laugh out loud and sometimes shed a tear, And capturing the fun and laughter you share with those so dear.

Rustic weddings and glitzy glam, 2017 began in the heart of the Welsh hills, Stunning venues with views for miles, settings that give you chills. April showers and summer sun and sparkling winter snowflakes, The best ‘best man's’ speech tribute song and wonderfully creative cakes.

A photobooth, a sweety cart and a throw of the bouquet, Vintage tractors and Dad's rally car that bring style to a special day. Delicious food, bubbly flowing or perhaps an afternoon tea, Family, friends and loved ones celebrating with a throw of confetti.

A stunning dress and sparkly blue shoes to go on Cinderella's feet, A secret garden, vibrant in bloom, a real photographer's treat. The sweetest couples with their lives ahead, starting with their special day, A turquoise ballroom - my favourite colour, that I saw in May.

The adorable sweetness of wedding jitters that I often see, Vows to be said and promises made, together they were meant to be. Love and happiness and sweet little glances I see shining through, I'm blessed to photograph that special moment when the happy couple say “I DO”.

A special thank you to my wonderful couples for the memories that will never fade, To the dress makers and cake bakers and all those in the wedding trade. From the engagement shoot to the first dance I've loved the time we've spent All caught on camera, to cherish forever, the most wonderful life event.

With a new year beginning, engagements announced and a beautiful sparkly ring, I look forward to creating memories with you and seeing the ideas that you'll bring. A beautiful personal wedding in the stunning countryside with a couple who are as kind hearted as eachother.

On the morning of the 15th July I made my way over to Knighton were Martha – the bride – was getting ready at her parents house, with her sister, best friend and little Seren their flower girl.

As a bride you think of something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue and I love how Martha implemented this into her special day. Martha wore her sister Kate’s wedding dress – altered it a little and it looked amazing – and what a lovely special touch – that was the borrowed and old I guess, old and blue was a beautiful brooch from the Grandmother and the new was her own jewelry and her calm yet nervous smiles as she waited to marry her man and become a new Wife!

Martha and Nicky married at St Mary’s Church in Chapel Lawn and made their way to their reception venue in the breathtaking countryside near Ludlow, The Wilde Lodge. It really is a unique venue that they made their own by having their relaxed afternoon tea style wedding party here. They had a marquee on the lawn and lawn games for all to play.

The most memorable part of the day for me was whilst I was standing on a ledge outside the bedroom window doing the all guests group shot – (it really is good I’m not scared of heights), I knew they had something planned for all their guests and couldn’t wait for the big surprise. Martha and Nicky are expecting their first child very soon and they had decided to find out whether they were having a little girl or boy on their wedding day with all their nearest and dearest. They had a gender reveal canon at the ready so after the group shot out came the canon – as the guests started to see what was happening they popped the canon and out shot all the colourful confetti, everyone gasped and cheered... I cannot tell you how exciting this was – blue blue blue lots of blue confetti flying in the sky – a baby boy!! As I stood there I just click click clicked whilst feeling thousand butterflies of joy bouncing all over me knowing how special it is to know what you are having. You could feel the emotion in the air – happy tears and cuddles of congratulations, such a moving moment. Talk about an amazing and unforgettable surprise on your wedding day – for the happy couple and everyone!

Afternoon tea was served and speeches followed, we then headed off to the field in front of the lodge for a couple more photos in the golden sun. I know I’ve mentioned it before and I’ll say it again – this moment in a wedding day is one of my most favourite times to take a few photos of the newlyweds, all the to do jobs and speeches have been done, everyone has been fed and had a drink so all that is left is to sit back and relax and enjoy the party, and its so lovely for the newlyweds to have 5 minutes of fresh air and being together to take it all in and with that in mind the photos are always so beautiful as you can sense the lovey dovey relaxed ‘yay we did it’ vibe.

As we got back to their party it was time for Martha’s amazing parents to get the DJ hats on and get the party started. This wedding was made perfect by the fact it was so personal to Martha and Nick and by al their family and friends contributing to creating their wedding from the marquee to the food to the cake to the to the disco as mentioned. With all these wonderful people doing little bits and bobs it added to the perfection of their perfect relaxed vintage style wedding to reflect their personalities.

I for one am very excited to hear their wonderful news in the next month and wishing them all lots of love and happiness.
